Designed by Dr. Al Ross, this kit depicts USS Gearing as she appeared in WWII, circa 1945. It uses a carved solid hull together with laser-cut wood, etched brass and Britannia-metal fittings, plus detailed instructions and plans; BlueJacket recommends it for very experienced builders due to the amount of detail involved. A matching optional paint kit (PN1945K) and a photo CD (USB1945) are sold separately.
