This is a solid-hull wooden kit (K1034) built around a factory pre-shaped, kiln-dried hardwood hull. The revised edition includes new laser-cut wooden parts, cast Britannia-metal (pewter) fittings, photo-etched brass detail parts, an expanded illustrated instruction booklet, and comprehensive full-size plans; an optional CD documenting the kit's redevelopment is also sold separately. Bluejacket rates it at their most advanced "Admiral" skill tier, and the completed model measures just under 40 inches (39-1/2") long.
