This 1/8" scale (1:96) kit is of plank-on-frame construction, built as an Admiralty-style model with exposed mahogany ribs; enough wood is supplied to complete the planking if the builder prefers a fully-planked hull instead of the open-frame look. The box includes brass and Britannia (cast pewter) fittings, rigging line, and sail cloth along with plans and instructions. Because it's a true plank-on-frame Admiralty-style build with fine interior framing detail, the manufacturer notes it is best suited to advanced/experienced modelers rather than beginners. The finished model measures roughly 17 in (about 432 mm) long by 14.5 in (about 368 mm) high.
