This all-wood plank-on-bulkhead kit uses Midwest's Micro-Cut basswood/balsa parts with self-aligning bulkheads and planked balsa sheeting, built from full-size plans and a step-by-step illustrated Success Series construction manual. The box includes all wood needed to build the hull and cabin, a fiberglass cloth hull sheathing kit, cast/machined hardware for detailing, and a display stand, plus an R/C drivetrain package (prop shaft, brass stuffing box, locking collar, jam nut, and propeller) so it can be finished either as a static display model or as a working electric R/C boat. The builder must supply glue, paint and sealing resin, and — if building for radio control — a 2-channel radio with two servos plus a motor/speed-control/battery power system.
