Fittings include finely cast Britannia metal castings (including a 12-pounder Dahlgren Howitzer and miniature steam engine/boiler), brass fittings and wire, and a scale spar-torpedo mechanism. The open-hull design leaves the engine, boiler and interior machinery visible rather than planked over, and the box includes 5 full-size plans plus an illustrated instruction manual; builders note the hull planking and some laser-cut brass sheet parts present a moderate challenge for an intermediate-level kit.
