Prototype ship: Baltimore Clipper (Generic)
Plank-on-bulkhead kit with laser-cut basswood keel, bulkheads and other wooden structural parts for accurate fit. Fittings include Britannia metal castings (windlass, vents, propellers, anchors, wheel, bilge pumps, swivel guns) and brass parts (bell, portlights, eyebolts, cannon barrels), plus 150 wooden blocks/deadeyes and four sizes of cotton rigging line. Box includes a 48-page illustrated instruction manual and multi-sheet plans, and the finished model can be displayed on the included wooden launching ways; some prior modeling experience is recommended.
