A simple injection-molded styrene kit of Vasco da Gama's carrack, originally released by Revell as 'Nao/Nau San Gabriel' and later reissued by Zvezda under the alternate box name 'Flying Dutchman' using the same tooling. The kit includes plastic hull and fitting parts, molded plastic sails, thread rigging and a basic construction plan; aftermarket upgrade sets (cloth sails, wood CNC blocks, photo-etched deadeyes, belaying pins) are sold separately by third parties such as HiSModel for builders wanting to improve on the stock plastic parts.
