An injection-molded styrene kit of 87 parts forming a 465mm-long waterline-style display model with a two-part hull, extendable/retractable periscopes, and a display stand. Decals reproduce the historically correct U-96 markings as seen in the film. The anniversary box also includes Revell Aqua Color paints, glue, a brush, and a reprint of the 1981 film poster.
