Fletcher Class Destroyer Limited Edition, Platinum Edition· 05150

Massive 1:144 scale, nearly 80cm-long injection-molded plastic 'Platinum Edition' kit (originally released as REV05091, later reissued as 05150) with about 500 parts, including photo-etched parts and metal gun barrels. Features a two-piece hull, rotating propellers and moving rudders, five fully detailed gun turrets with elevating guns, detailed torpedo tubes and depth charges, a finely detailed mast/radar system, searchlights with clear lenses, a display stand, and decals for two ships (USS Fletcher and USS Chevalier); some reviewers note the photo-etch and plastic instruction sets can be hard to reconcile.
