Prototype ship: Benjamin W. Latham
This plank-on-bulkhead kit includes laser-cut basswood parts (false keel and 14-piece bulkhead set), basswood planking and strip stock for the hull, deck, cabins, hatches and chain boxes, over 100 wooden blocks and deadeyes, three diameters of rigging line, brass eyebolts/chainplates/strop rings, and a comprehensive Britannia metal fitting set (windlass, anchors, bilge pumps, props, exhaust pipes, fiferails, smokeheads). It also features a plank-on-bulkhead seine boat built upside-down on formers, sail cloth for a full set of sails, six sheets of Smithsonian-supplemented plans by Erik A. R. Ronnberg Jr., and a 48-page instruction book. The finished model measures roughly 33 in (length) x 27 in (height) at 1:48 scale; a display base and pedestals are sold separately.

Appears to be a separate completion/showcase thread by the same builder for the same Model Shipways 1:48 build; possibly a duplicate of the other Fred P. thread rather than a distinct build log with its own progression.
