This is Amati's high-end Victory Models (designed by Chris Watton) rendition of the Mercury, built as a plank-on-frame hull with laser-cut keel and frames and double (first-lime, second-walnut) planking. The box includes extensive photo-etched brass fittings, etched copper hull plates, CNC-machined pear wood blocks, laser-cut walnut carronade assemblies, a full flag set, and a baseboard with cradles, guided by 17 large plan sheets and a 40+ page instruction booklet. It is aimed at advanced/expert builders rather than beginners.
