Prototype ship: Bismarck
This is a large plank-on-bulkhead wooden kit featuring a single-planked hull built from highest quality birch plywood, walnut plywood and walnut sheet, with 16 laser-cut plywood sheets for the keel, bulkheads and deck structures. The kit is highly detailed, including over 2,266 photo-etched brass parts for fittings alongside molded and 3D components, brass chain, and a decorative nameplate. Wooden decks are real wood planking, and the box includes comprehensive multi-language, color-illustrated building instructions covering every construction stage. The generous hull space and removable superstructure make the model easily adaptable for RC conversion.
