This solid-hull kit features a machine-carved basswood hull with accurately shaped bulwarks and transom, requiring only minor shaping and sanding, making it suited to first-time builders. The box includes eight cast-metal cannon (representing the original 9-pounders), true-to-scale wood, brass and Britannia-metal fittings (mast caps, anchors, capstan, gratings, eyebolts and belaying pins), hardwood blocks and deadeyes, wooden masts and yards, scribed decking material, and three diameters of cotton rigging line, plus detailed plans and illustrated assembly instructions. A display base and brass pedestals are not included.
