This BlueJacket plank-on-bulkhead kit (KLW105) is built up from laser-cut basswood and mahogany parts, with cast metal, copper and brass fittings included for hardware such as blocks and cleats; the finished hull is 20 inches (508mm) long at 1:16 (3/4"=1') scale. Builders on modeling forums report the kit arrives well packaged with high-quality wood stock and a variety of metal fitting types (cast, copper, brass) to complete the single-masted gaff catboat rig. As with other BlueJacket kits, some box/catalog photos may show optional extras (paint, display base, case) that are not included with the standard kit.
