This is a true plank-on-frame (fully-ribbed) kit rather than the usual plank-on-bulkhead construction, marking YuanQing's first foray into POF/full-rib models. The hull frames and keel assembly are AA-grade wild pear wood, deck planking and fittings are AA-grade red beech, and the building jig is sycamore, with all parts laser-cut for accurate, precise fitment. As designed, the kit is built with the port side fully planked while the starboard side is left with exposed ribs/frames to showcase the frame structure (deck planking is supplied for the planked side only), and it includes a set of large double-sided plan/drawing sheets, an assembly jig, masts and wood strips, plus a display stand.
