Revenue Cutter Cheerful 1806 (English Cutter Cheerful)

A plank-on-bulkhead project designed for the first-time scratch builder, offered in either Alaskan Yellow Cedar or Boxwood. The designer, Chuck Passaro, states this kit is no longer in production, though a Starter package (bulkheads, keel parts, framework, and full plans) was previously available along with a free downloadable monograph covering construction chapters, a wood list, and a rope/block list. The manufacturer's page notes that Vanguard Models was expected to begin producing this kit in the future, but as of this research no such Vanguard release could be confirmed as commercially available.
