A true plank-on-frame model of the ketch-rigged sloop Speedwell (1752) built to 3/8" scale (1:32), with a 32"-long hull that grows to roughly 51" long by 40" high once fully rigged. It is a laser-cut kit made primarily of Alaskan Yellow Cedar with boxwood accents, containing hundreds of laser-cut parts, and is sold in ten chapter installments rather than as one box; the manufacturer notes the complete set of chapters totals around $1500.
