Duyfken (The Duyfken)

This is a 1:50 scale plank-on-frame kit of the exploration yacht Duyfken, offered by the Dutch specialist manufacturer Kolderstok in either a walnut or an oak planking option (same kit, buyer's choice of wood). The kit consists of laser-cut frames, planking stock, and various other laser-cut parts, with building and rigging instructions based on photographs and drawings. It includes a self-build sail kit requiring cutting and stitching, wooden blocks and deadeyes, and four turned/cast cannons (with an additional set of four available separately to fill all eight gun ports); a simple wooden stand is included, with a more luxurious oak stand available as an accessory. Some retailers list this kit under separate SKUs for the walnut (KOL2) and oak (KOL3) wood variants, though Kolderstok's own site presents it as a single product with a wood-choice option.
