Prototype ship: Dancing Feather

A solid-hull wooden kit at 3/16" = 1' (1:64) scale, sold by A.J. Fisher (now produced by Piel Craftsmen) as one of their classic solid-hull carved-hull ship model lines. The package includes a set of detailed blueprints (plans, shown as 3 sheets in the AJ Fisher catalog listing) covering body, sheer, half-breadth and deck details, along with fittings and rigging line typical of the Fisher kit range, but the hull itself is a solid carved block rather than plank-on-frame. The pilot schooner is meant to be finished with a dark green hull below the black topsides and a dark brown main rail, with lower masts/spars stained and topmasts painted white, per the builder's guidance.
