Injection-molded waterline kit providing parts to build both sister ships Chaoyong and Yangwei in 1/700 scale. Box includes two identical photo-etch frets (railings, davits, anchor chains, rigging, ladders, and separate name plates for each ship), turned brass/metal gun barrels and masts as alternatives to the plastic parts, and decals for flags. A shared S-Model accessory sprue (ship's boats, davits, vents, anchors) is included twice; light guns such as Nordenfeldt and Gatling mounts seen in period photos are not represented in the kit.
