This Caldercraft kit uses a fully moulded GRP (fibreglass) hull with plating and rubbing-strake detail, complemented by CNC-cut plywood deck and superstructure parts; printed ply overlays and a comprehensive white-metal fittings set (including interior bridge parts) are included, with a construction drawing and building instructions. The superstructure is fully removable, making the large-volume hull well suited to installation of a live steam plant, and the model is also radio-control compatible. It is pitched as an intermediate-to-advanced build, sold under both Caldercraft and the older Jotika branding (item numbers 7020/C7020/CC7020/27020 across sources), and has recently been offered at a discount from its RRP by several retailers.
