This is a vintage Scientific Models wood kit (Kit #302) producing a 14-inch model of the schooner yacht Atlantic, an unassembled kit sold new in the late 1970s/1980s. Scientific Models' ship kits of this era were typically solid-hull, wood construction kits with printed plans, metal or wood fittings, and cloth sails rather than laser-cut plank-on-frame parts. The brand and this specific kit are long discontinued; Scientific Models today (under Micro-Mark) produces unrelated HO-scale structure kits, not ship models, so no current manufacturer listing exists for this kit.
