Construction uses a false keel and frames (plank-on-frame), with 14 sheets of precision laser-cut basswood plywood, American oak veneer, 6 photo-etched brass sheets for lanterns/railings/cannon details, and prefabricated blocks and deadeyes. Includes 18 pre-sewn cotton sails, copper tape for hull coppering, 5 die-cast figures, a wooden display base with metal nameplate, and wooden ship's boats; instructions (over 800 pages) are downloadable only via QR code, not printed in the box.
