Injection-molded styrene kit with 306 parts (per Cornwall Model Boats) building a 370mm-long waterline or full-hull model of the 1899-built protected cruiser Varyag. It is rated a Skill Level 3 kit requiring standard modeling tools, paint and glue (sold separately), and decals are included for markings. A wide range of third-party photo-etch (Eduard, Flyhawk), turned-brass gun barrels and masts/yards (Master Model), and wood decks (Artwox) are produced specifically to fit this kit, reflecting its status as the standard mainstream Varyag (1899) model.
