This kit lets the modeler build either the Spanish Juan Sebastián Elcano or the Chilean Esmeralda from the same box, including separate figurehead, flag, and name plate parts for the Esmeralda version. The hull is a pre-formed/preformed plastic hull for ease of assembly, with additional laser-cut board, hardwood, plastic, brass and cast-metal parts plus cloth sails; photo-etched detail parts are included. Instructions are provided only as free step-by-step videos rather than a printed manual.
