About the kit

Sold under the ship's original name, this Mantua/Sergal kit explicitly represents the vessel built at Deptford in 1700 that was later rebuilt and renamed Caroline (and whose design underpinned the subsequent Royal Caroline yacht). It is a double plank-on-frame hull with laser-cut ply sections, lost-wax brass castings, walnut and lime planking, wooden masts/spars, laser-engraved decoration, rigging cord, sailcloth and a silk flag; some listings note sails are not included and a display stand is supplied.
