Prototype ship: HMS Hood

A waterline-only 1:700 scale kit (no. 31806) that pairs a HMS Hood model (375mm long) with a newly tooled E-Class destroyer, reflecting the historic pairing during the pursuit of the Bismarck. The destroyer uses an easy-assembly left/right hull halves design with moveable main guns and torpedo launchers via polycaps; markings are provided for all nine E-Class destroyers built, and the kit is designed to be compatible for display alongside Tamiya's other WWII British and German warship kits.
