This OcCre "Cala Esmeralda" (ref. OC13002) topsail schooner kit is a double-planked, plank-on-frame/bulkhead wooden build with laser-cut sheet-ply parts, lost-wax brass castings, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, etched brass fittings, rigging cord, sails and a silk flag. The box includes large color plans and English step-by-step instructions, and is rated as an intermediate-level build suitable for modelers with some prior experience. Note: the kit appears to have been discontinued by OcCre, with only remaining retailer stock and downloadable instructions available.
