This plank-on-bulkhead kit of Hemingway's cruiser Pilar includes wood and metal fittings, cloth material for flags, full plan sheets, and a full-color instruction manual printed in seven languages, part of Constructo's "Easy to Build" beginner series. The hull is built up from a ribbed bulkhead frame with extra wood strips for planking, and the box also includes basic building materials/glue. It's presented with all components sorted and classified for easy identification, and one retailer notes it uses traditional plank-on-frame hull construction with a comprehensive assembly plan covering all views and details.
