A large 1/100 scale wooden kit (Level 3 difficulty) consisting of 53 types of high-precision laser-cut and machine-cut wooden parts in premium natural wood (including Japanese cypress), plus 7 types of metal parts for anchors and decorative shachihoko ornaments. The kit reproduces the castle-like superstructure and massive hull of the Atakebune, including 64 replicated Ro (sculling oars), and comes with a full-color illustrated assembly manual, roof patterns and full-scale door drawings; finished model is about 490mm long and estimated build time is roughly 80 hours. Note: this same kit has been listed as discontinued by at least one overseas reseller (HLJ), even though it remains in stock through the manufacturer-affiliated Zootoyz store.
